My first crocheted project ...
... is a coaster.
Yup, there are a couple holes that shouldn't be there, but hey! It looks pretty darn good for 1) my first completed crocheted project and 2) my first attempt at a round crocheted project. I'm even using it on the dining room table. :-) I must say, I much prefer knitting to crocheting. While things "crochet up" faster than knitting, I just find knitting more fun. Even when I'm making mistakes. Still, there are some cute little crocheted animals I'd like to make someday, so I'll keep plugging at it.
